Bolivian blankets

these Bolivian blankets at the
Thunderbird hotel in Marfa
are making me want to trade in
my beloved suzani.
they even sell them in the gift shop.
i'd go for the red-orange-pink combo.

  1. These 'frazadas' (spanish for 'blanket') are just awesome.
    Soft,cozy,incredibly warm and they come in the most fabulous color combo's and patterns you can imagine.

    There are also stunning Alpaca pieces available in glorious subtle neutrals...soft and weighty they just ooze quality...these pieces are design gold.

    However they are not easy to find, (unless you actually go to Bolivia!)and very are very,very pricey indeed..from $3-600. Gulp!
